Jessica Taylor Piotrowski is a Faculty member at the  Amsterdam School of Communication Research ASCoR at the University of Amsterdam. Piotrowski's line of research focuses on how healthy media content can translate to academic or prosocial outcomes for children. She is particularly interested in the unique affordances of digital media for young children. Piotrowski is also a member of Valkenburg’s longitudinal project “The Entertainization of Childhood” where she is investigating how media content can support children’s cognitive development and prosocial behavior.
