Rinaldo Kühne

Rinaldo Kühne (MA, 2008, University of Zürich) is an Assistant Professor in the Amsterdam School of Communication Research (ASCoR) at the University of Amsterdam. His research focuses on framing effects, cognitive and emotional processes of learning and attitude change, and the cultivation of adolescents’ and emerging adults beliefs and values through media use.

Prior to joining the Amsterdam School of Communication Research, Rinaldo Kühne worked as a Research and Teaching Associate in the Institute of Mass Communication and Media Research at the University of Zürich. He participated in the interdisciplinary research project “NCCR Democracy: The Strategies and Processes of Attitude Formation and Public Participation” and received a personal research grant from the University of Zürich for his project on media effects on political opinion formation and participation.
