September 2010.CcaM grows fast. As of this summer no fewer than seven new researchers empower our team. We are very happy to welcome Rutger Engels (Professor), Mariette Huizinga (Associate Professor), Inge Boot and Doeschka Anschutz (Post-Docs), and Sanne Nikkelen, Annemarie van Oosten and Karin Fikkers (Ph.D. Students) to our center.

Together they will contribute to the current research projects 'The Entertainization of Childhood' of Patti Valkenburg and 'Vidi' of Jochen Peter. Within this projects different topics will be investigated. The Vidi project focuses on seksual media content and its effects, whereas the Entertainization project covers the effects of Entertainment Media on cognitive ability, ADHD and aggressive behavior.

Exciting research is to be expected. View the new researchers'profiles to find out about their specific research plans at CcaM and their research history.
