On November 9 2010, Jeroen Lemmens successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled: Causes and Consequences of Pathological Gaming.

In his dissertation, Lemmens explains the prevalence, causes, and consequences of teenagers'
addiction to computer games. The defense committee was impressed by his vigorous and coherent research. Lemmens dissertation consists of four articles that can be downloaded from the publication section. Please find a summary here.
