June 2008. Moniek Buijzen has received the ASCoR Baschwitz Faculty Award for the best article published in a peer-reviewed journal in 2007.
The jury consisting of professors Dennis McQuail, Hilde van den Bulck, and Leen d’Haenens awarded the CCAM researcher the price for her article entitled Reducing children's susceptibility to commercials: Mechanisms of factual and evaluative advertising interventions, which was published in Media Psychology (Vol. 9, pp. 411-430).
Alexander Schouten received the ASCoR Baschwitz Student Article of the Year Award. The jury awarded him and his co-authors Patti Valkenburg and Jochen Peter for their article entitled Precursors and underlying processes of adolescents’ online self-disclosure: Developing and testing an “internet-attribute-perception” model, which was also published in Media Psychology (Vol. 10, pp. 292-315).
