Chiara de Jong (MA, 2017) is a PhD candidate at the Amsterdam School of Communication Research (ASCoR) at the University of Amsterdam. Within the Center for research on Children, Adolescents, and the Media (CcaM) Chiara de Jong is involved in the ERC-project “CHILDROBOT. Children and Social Robots: Towards an integrative framework”. Her subproject aims to study why children interact with robots and what possible antecedents are for children’s acceptance of robots.
Prior to joining ASCoR, Chiara de Jong attained a bachelor’s degree in Communication- and Information Sciences at Tilburg University and a joint research master’s degree Language and Communication at Tilburg University and Radboud University Nijmegen.
