Rinaldo Kühne

photoart 0033 pass squareRinaldo Kühne (Ph.D, 2015, University of Zürich) is an Assistant Professor in the Amsterdam School of Communication Research (ASCoR) at the University of Amsterdam. His main interests are cognitive and emotional effects of media and communication technologies and quantitative research methods. Currently, he’s working in the ERC-funded project by Jochen Peter on “Child-Robot Interaction: Toward an Integrative Framework of its Antecedents, Consequences, and Underlying Processes.”

Prior to joining the Amsterdam School of Communication Research, he worked as a Research and Teaching Associate in the Institute of Mass Communication and Media Research at the University of Zürich. He was a member of the interdisciplinary research project “NCCR Democracy: The Strategies and Processes of Attitude Formation and Public Participation” and received a research grant from the University of Zürich to investigate media effects on political opinion formation and participation.
